LACD Celebrates the Lebanese-American Legacy on America's 250th Independence Anniversary

For more than a century, Lebanese Americans have contributed to the growth and success of the United States, building remarkable achievements across business, medicine, education, science, public service, and many other fields.
As the United States celebrates its 250th Independence Anniversary, the Lebanese American Commission for Democracy (LACD) honors this shared legacy and recognizes the generations of Lebanese Americans who have helped shape their communities while preserving their connection to their Lebanese heritage.
The Lebanese-American experience is a story of determination, achievement, and belonging. Across generations, Lebanese Americans have built successful businesses, served their communities, advanced education and innovation, and contributed to American public life.
This milestone also provides an opportunity to celebrate the enduring friendship between Lebanon and the United States and the important role of the Lebanese-American community in strengthening bridges of cooperation, dialogue, and mutual understanding between the two countries.
LACD remains committed to supporting and empowering the Lebanese-American community and to promoting stronger ties between Lebanon and the United States.
